Create Simulator Paths
Note: You can add as many Simulator Paths as you need. In cases with high volumes of
tags (i.e. tens of thousands and above) we recommend running several Simulator
Paths with fewer tags (e.g. a few thousand or less) per Path rather than one
Path with all of the tags.
-
Open an existing .quuppaproject file with the Quuppa Site Planner (QSP) or
create a new project from scratch.
Note: For more information about setting up a new project, please refer to the Quuppa Development Kit Quick Start Guide.
-
Add a new Simulator Path by opening the Planning menu and
selecting Add Simulator Path.
Tip: Alternatively, you can right-click on the Simulator Paths in the object tree on the left and select Add Simulator Path.
-
Edit the Simulator Path polygon for your project.
Tip: To enable polygon editing, click the Edit polygon button in the panel on the right.
-
Edit the simulation path general settings in the General
panel on the right as needed:
- Enabled checkbox - controls if the tags on this path are simulated or not
- Number of Tags - sets the number of tags on this path
- Tag height [m] - sets the height of the tags on this path
- Tag velocity [m/s] - sets the velocity of the tags on this path (when set to 0, the tags will be stationary)
- Tag direction - sets the moving direction (clockwise / counterclockwise) of the tags on this path
- Tag Group - sets the tag group for the tags on this path
-
Edit the simulation path stop points in the Simulator path panel on the right
as needed:
Simulation path polygon points are numbered. You can set the tags to stop at a polygon point for a defined amount of time (seconds). Timestamp shows the arrival time to the polygon point.
