Align Locators Using Rotation Angle
Once the Quuppa system is physically installed, horizontally / flat in the
ceiling, and the Locators have been positioned and identified in the QSP, the next
step is to set the Locators' Orientation angle.
This step set the orientation of the Locators and is crucial for the system to work
properly and be able to provide accurate positioning results.
If your Locators aren’t orientated in one of the cardinals points regarding the
deployment map or mounted tilted please refer to Focus Locators Using Focusing
Wizard.
Note: If Locators are mounted tilted, i.e. Outside
environment, please refer to Focus Locators Using Focusing
Wizard, for the focusing step. Please note that for the vast
majority of cases Quuppa recommend to mount Locators flat in the ceiling.
If your Locators' orientation (LED Orientation) is one of the cardinals points
regarding the deployment map, please input in the correct Rotation angle.
Note:
LED pointing towards the RIGHT of the map = 0º
LED pointing towards the TOP of the map = 90º
LED pointing towards the LEFT of the map = 180º
LED pointing towards the BOTTOM of the map = -90º
Once the Locators Rotation is set, please select the tick box Orientation is Set
Manually?
Once the Locator Rotation Angle is set, a small arrow will appear on the Locator
pointing in the direction of the Locator LED.
