If not, is the Offline Module enabled on the Locator subscription?'
What is the DHCP scope reserved for the Locators?
If spanning multiple subnets, have Options 43 and 60 been configured?
Option 43: the IP address of the QPE Server
Option 60: Quuppa LD
If possible, mount all of the Locators with the LED indicator light oriented in
the same direction.
Check that all of the Locators and Ethernet cables are numbered and labelled
appropriately. This will help with maintaining and troubleshooting the
infrastructure.
Are all the installed Locators visible in the QPE Locator details page?
If not, verify necessary UDP ports 22100 and 22101 are open in both
directions on any firewalls between the Locators and the QPE.
Also test cable terminations at both ends of the Ethernet cable.
Start the Locator configuration by performing the Identification, XYZ and Focus
wizards for each Locator.
Check that you have identified the correct Locator when running the
Identification wizard.
Use a laser measuring device mounted on a tripod when taking the X,Y and
Z measurements.
Be precise when setting the XY anchor points on the floor plan
for all measurements.
Focus to an ‘angle of error’ of no more than 4.0 degrees, ideally less
than 2.0 degrees.
If possible, focus from 90 degree angles as you can use the
pre-positioned arrows for ‘direction focused from’.
Once all of the Locators have been measured and focused, upload the project to
the Quuppa Customer Portal and sync the file to the QPE.
Update the server to run the latest available version of the QPE.
Update the firmware of all of the Locators to the latest applicable
version.
Verify a tag’s physical location using the QPE Web Console. Conduct accuracy
testing at various locations throughout the tracking area.
If unexpected variances or anomalies exist, please discuss them with
your Quuppa Sales Engineer or the Quuppa Support team. Binary and/or
Catalina logs may be requested to troubleshoot any areas that don’t meet
design expectations.
