Quuppa in the top 20 Finnish start-ups

Press release

Finnish business magazine Talouselämä listed Quuppa as one of the most promising start-ups in the country. The yearly list was published for the fourth time and it is highly valued accross the Finnish business world.

The Jury emphasized the companies’ possibility to quick growth especially on international markets. The know-how, broad experience of the team, and convincing funding were also considered as important factors.

“This is a great honor for us”, says Kimmo Kalliola, CEO of Quuppa. “Already last year we were selected as one of the 10 ‘runner-ups’ so, clearly, this is another indication we’re doing the right things.”

“International market is definitely our main target and we’re expecting considerable growth this year. The next step is presenting at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, on the first week of March. We’ll be there as a selected member of Team Finland, demonstrating not only our current products offering but also launching new exciting features: Quuppa is bridging the gap between accurate positioning, mobile devices and Internet of Things. Do More With Location is not only a motto within the company spirit.”
