Enable Location-Based Temporary Commands

Zone Groups can be used to trigger location-based temporary commands for tags. This means that the tags behave in a certain way when they enter the defined zones and revert back to normal behaviour when they exit the zone. To enable location-based command, follow the steps below.
Note: For more information on creating new Location-Based Temporary Command, see the Create New Location-Based Temporary Commands section.
  1. Open the project in the QSP.
  2. In the object tree on the left, navigate to the zone group that you want to add temporary commands for.
Note: For instructions on how to create zone groups, please see the Create Zone Groups section.
  3. In the panel on the right, select the temporary commands that you want to enable from the drop down menu.

Note: In the example image above, you can see the following options:
    • Tags transmit at 9Hz for 30 seconds when entering zones in this zone group
    • The LED of the QT1 tag starts blinking when entering zones in this zone group

To create new location-based commands, please see the Create New Location-Based Temporary Commands section.
